An Evaluation of English Language Teaching in Indonesian Schools

This study discusses the planning, implementation, and assessment processes of English language teaching based on national curriculum Indonesia. Evaluative research was conducted using CIPP model, which stands for context, input, process, product. The subjects this were 30 teachers from 15 schools in three municipalities Central Java Province, Data collected through interviews, questionnaires, surveys. There are four variables with six sub-variables (school policy, lesson plan, resources learning facilities, media selection, phases, assessment). results show that both public private has been going well at all levels. authors recommend while making a policy Indonesia, two aspects must be considered – an program applicable extracurricular program.
